Julia loves all things colour and paint plus all things nature and magic. This accumulated in the swan mural commissioned by Anita at the Number 1 Barbers on Northload Street.

When she isn’t painting giant animals then she is painting smaller ones around town and for private collections and commissions. Julia teaches art too in various workshops from Art and Meditation to graffiti workshops with teenagers and children.

With a Fine Art Degree and a foot in the London graffiti scene, Julia also loves to experiment with materials and has held basket making courses, paper making workshops and natural dye days.

Julia’s other passion is food, plant based and local. She cooks regularly for community events and teaches healthy nutritious cooking. She is a member of the workers co-op Feed Avalon and can be found growing vegetables at The Red Brick Community Garden or cooking out of The People’s Kitchen in Bride’s Yard.
